1. Service Description

Michigan Service Animals provides telehealth evaluation services connecting Michigan residents with Michigan-licensed mental health professionals for Emotional Support Animal (ESA) and Psychiatric Service Dog (PSD) letters. The evaluation is conducted by a licensed Michigan clinician. Letter issuance is at the sole professional discretion of the clinician based on clinical assessment.

2. Michigan Telehealth Services

All evaluations are conducted via HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms in compliance with Michigan telehealth law (MCL 333.16285) and applicable federal telehealth regulations. By using this service, you consent to receive healthcare services via telehealth from Michigan-licensed clinicians.

3. Eligibility

You must be a Michigan resident, 18 years of age or older, and seeking services for a genuine mental health condition. You agree to provide accurate and truthful information during the intake and evaluation process. Providing false information to obtain an ESA or PSD letter may constitute fraud.

4. No Guarantee of Letter Issuance

Purchase of an evaluation does not guarantee issuance of an ESA or PSD letter. Michigan-licensed clinicians make independent professional judgments based on their clinical assessment. If the evaluation cannot support a letter, Michigan Service Animals will issue a full refund per our Refund Policy.

5. Letter Validity and Use

Michigan ESA and PSD letters issued through Michigan Service Animals are intended for use in Michigan housing accommodation requests under FHA and PWDCRA. Letters comply with HUD 2020 FHEO Notice guidelines. Letters are not intended as general mental health certifications or for purposes other than housing and transit accommodation.

6. Limitation of Liability

Michigan Service Animals provides platform and administrative services. Clinical services are provided by independent Michigan-licensed clinicians. Michigan Service Animals' liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not liable for landlord, HOA, or transit decisions based on your letter.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Disputes shall be resolved in Michigan courts with venue in Wayne County, Michigan.
